Car Coloring: Paint Garage

Privacy policy

Effective date: 27 October 2026

This policy explains how Car Coloring: Paint Garage handles information when you draw, unlock vehicles or contact us.

The app has no accounts, advertisements, analytics or tracking, and contains no third-party services. Drawings are stored on your device. Purchases are made through Apple’s App Store, and Apple processes the payment and purchase information as described below.

Who is responsible?

The app is provided by Deividas Marcinkevicius, operating as Appy in Lithuania. For privacy questions or requests, email info@appy.lt. This policy covers the app and its support and privacy pages. Our separate website policy and service terms cover Appy’s business website and contact form.

Drawings and device storage

Your drawings, painting progress and app preferences are saved locally on your device. We do not upload your artwork to our servers. Deleting the app can remove locally saved pictures. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by Apple and your device settings.

If you choose to save a picture to Photos, the app asks only for permission to add photos; it cannot see or read your existing photo library. Sharing a picture opens the iOS share sheet only after a parent answers the app’s parental gate, and the picture then goes only to the app or person you choose. We do not receive shared pictures. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

The app does not ask for location permission and does not use GPS.

Purchases

Full Garage Unlock is an optional one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Purchases and restores go through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment, your Apple Account and the purchase record under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment-card details or your Apple Account details.

The app uses Apple’s StoreKit framework on your device to show the price, start a purchase, restore purchases and check whether Full Garage Unlock is active. StoreKit checks Apple’s signed purchase record on the device. The app itself does not send purchase information, device identifiers or any other information about you or your child to us or to any other company, and it keeps no account or customer identifier of its own. Restore purchases asks the App Store to sync your purchases, and Apple may ask you to sign in. If Family Sharing is turned on for the purchase, Apple lets family members use it, and the app sees only that the purchase is shared.

Apple gives us App Store Connect reports about the app, such as sales, proceeds and refund totals, and app analytics and crash reports from people who chose in their device settings to share them with app developers. These come from Apple under Apple’s terms, not from the app.

Earlier test versions

Test versions of the app distributed before this change (through TestFlight and for App Review) used RevenueCat, a purchase service, which received purchase records and technical device information, including the device model, iOS version and the identifier for vendor (IDFV). The current version no longer contains RevenueCat. RevenueCat may still hold records sent by those test versions. To have them deleted, email info@appy.lt.

Children and parents

The app is intended for children with parental supervision. It does not ask children for their name, email address or an account, and has no public chat or artwork-sharing community. Purchases, restoring purchases, external links and sharing a picture are intended for parents or guardians and are placed behind the app’s parental gate, a short arithmetic question for adults. The gate helps prevent young children from using these by accident; it is not a guarantee.

Parents should contact support on a child’s behalf. Please do not send a child’s full name, photo, school, location or other unnecessary personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Support messages and these web pages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as a device model, app version, problem description or screenshot. We use this to answer your request. Please remove personal information from screenshots before sending them.

These app support and privacy pages use no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may process ordinary server request information, such as IP address, browser information and access time, to serve and protect the website. Opening a link from the app’s parent area opens these pages in your browser. Opening an email link uses your chosen email service.

Why information is processed and who receives it

We process the information in support messages to answer your request, and App Store reports to run and support the app. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate service security and troubleshooting, and on legal obligations where records must be retained.

Information is handled by Apple for App Store services and by our hosting and email providers for the website and support. We do not sell personal information. Providers may process information outside Lithuania or the European Economic Area. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or another valid transfer mechanism, must cover those transfers. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Retention and deletion

Local drawings and preferences remain on your device until you remove them or the app’s local data. Exported pictures remain in Photos until you delete them there. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step without first saving pictures you want to keep.

We keep ordinary support correspondence for up to 12 months after resolving the request, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer. Apple keeps purchase records under its own policies, so that you can restore the purchase on your devices. Deleting the app does not delete Apple’s purchase record or refund a purchase; refunds are requested from Apple.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. A parent or guardian may contact us on a child’s behalf. Email info@appy.lt; we may need proportionate information to verify and locate the relevant record. We cannot retrieve drawings stored only on your device.

You may also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate or your local supervisory authority. Requests concerning information held independently by Apple may need to be made to Apple.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We update this policy when our practices change and show the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated as required.
